Located in the Visitor Centre the Gift Store is open year round and offering a carefully selected collection of quality gifts & souvenirs, wearables, jewellery, old fashioned games, and books that include local and regional/themed cookbooks, history and other titles of interest. Come out for a cup of tea and a relaxing stroll through the shop to find something special for your special someone.

A variety of works by local artists and themed art, gifts, baked goods, jams, jellies, soap, and decor (i.e. Rocky Mountain, Kootenay wildlife, wooden toys, RCMP, train products and more) is available alongside products made right here at Fort Steele, such as iron and leather works by our blacksmith and harness maker and a selection of clothing and accessories sewn by our dressmakers. 

Visit our Christmas gift shop open throughout December for special Christmas items.  Add a little hot apple cider and a sleigh ride and make a day of it with the whole family.

Hours of Operation:

Open daily, except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
Spring/Fall 9:30 am to 5:00 pm
Summer 9:30 am to 6:00 pm
Winter 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Side gates adjacent to the gift shop are opened after gift shop hours for visitors to exit the park after hours.
