Rediscover the original meaning of horsepower.

Fort Steele's resident horses serve as your mode of transport for a relaxing tour of the townsite. Featuring our giant Black Clydesdale draft horses, the icons of Fort Steele, our bright red passenger wagon seats 20, and runs in a continuous loop through the townsite.

Wagon rides depart from the Stage Coach Office. From July 1 to September 3, wagons run from 10am-5pm daily. In June and September wagons run from 10am-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Tickets:
$5+tax per person, 5 years and under free.
Unlimited rides for the day of purchase. Wagon rides are also included in the Steele of a Deal pass.

Join us for Horse-Drawn sleigh rides on Sundays in December, January and February from 11am- 3pm. Single sleigh ride tickets are $2+tax per person, 5 years and under are free.
